I just finished my AA in history and am currently taking a break from school, to travel, pursue others goals, etc. But I still want to learn and continue my education in the meantime. Recently I found the open Yale courses, I have started watching a few courses. The issue is, I can’t afford to buy all the textbooks and course materials. So my my question is, can I still learn and progress with just the lectures? I still use google and others free online sources to research things mentioned that I don’t know.
