School Education in Greece

Today i realised how trash is the education system.They want us to memorize whole pages of something 5 pages of written useless stuff,i feel bad.

Ok for example i memorize a whole paragrapgh i get 80/100.Wow my whole family is cheering i got a two digit number on my test paper.But did learn anything from that

probably not.Schools teach us how to become industrial workers,they dont teach life they teach us memorization.I want to become a computer scientist.I am unfortunately bad at algebra but i am trying to get over

this problem to achieve my goal.So in my school we got 5 classes B1,B2,B3,B4,B5 i am in the B5 class we got a pretty bad math teacher.In the B1,B2,B3 classes they got a good teacher and they

finished maths and now they are revising for exams.Unlike us still being on the 3 out of the 5 paragraphs,we got 1 week before the exams and none of us can do a thing,because learning algebra

on your own is pretty challenging without any guidence.And i think to myself:so basicly its a russian roulete if i get a good teacher i will pass my exams and learn stuff,if i am unlucky i wont

learn a single thing.I may stupid to someone but i think its a really serious problem that we are facing.And also noone wants to talk with me about this problem.My mother just says:I dont care just memorize

everything get a good grade.I am 17 years old my life is a nightmare because of this.On one hand i have the education system and on the other hand i have my mother telling me constantly to become a doctor

or else i will be useless and dumb.I tell her its not about the money,its about what you love doing,i loved computer from a very young age i got a strong bond with them,and i am pretty good

at IT.Thank you for hearing me i hope i find people to communicate with about this problem and hear the problems they are facing.Have a nice day/night
