AP classes on a block schedule

My school has considered going to a block schedule for several years now. Without getting into all the details I will say it could provide us with many advantages. But the biggest hurdle is AP classes. Many probably already know the issue but to make it clear: If I teach my AP class in the fall my kids don't take the test until May. So several months away from the material. If my class is in the spring, the test happens almost a month before the end of the year so I lose a lot of class time to cover the material. I have to think some smart people out there have a good solution to this problem. So if you know of any I would love to hear them! Thanks!

How hard is it ? Which are the fields in it which doesn’t involve coding ? How’s the scope ? What entrance exam did y’all write ?

Interesting research paper ideas

Hi, i am a uni student studying SEN and inclusion, and i am wondering if anyone here has any ideas on contemporary issues in education i could potentially research for my uni assignment? I was thinking on basing it on inadequate sex education, but i am not sure. Thanks :)

I got 96k kcet rank and am i doomed?

So after revision of ranks my rank fell to 96k. I'm interested in cse but going by previous year cutoffs i don't think i stand a chance. Will i get a seat? It's just tht I'm not forced to do it but I feel I would regret not doing "engineering". Plz pull me out of this dark hole iam stuck in

In-school aggression

As a parent who has observed this and heard about it anecdotally- has there been an uptick in school violence and aggression during / post pandemic? And an increase just in behavioral and emotional issues?

I’m 24 and I want to go to college again. I need some advice.

I already have a bachelors degree back home but then my family and I moved to another country. I can’t and don’t want to use my bachelors degree here as I think that its just not for me and instead, I want to go to college again and study Nursing. My dad and mom separated and as the eldest in the family, I now pay a big chunk of the finances in the house so quitting work is not an option. Is it possible to just get one or two courses a semester? Would I be too behind if I do that? Am I too old to go back to school again? I have so many worries and I really need another person’s opinion.
