One of my relatives that has started his Senior yr of High School has run into a big problem. In the past, his High School would accept payments on a (pay as you go) basis. Meaning, every month you could pay what you could manage. This seems to have caught up with the school, now they are very low on money. Now they are demanding that students pay everything they owe from last year. In my relative's case, they want $3000 up front.
I'm planning to suggest that he change schools My question is: If you change high schools you'll need your good grades to be accepted to a new school. Can your previous school deny you your school records/grades if you don't pay what you owed?
Edit: His school is in New Jersey
