Video games and learning?

Hello Reddit, My name is Fábio, I'm a 22yo student from Brazil participating in a research about the use of video games(that categorize as math games) at elementary and high school and if the results of this use are positive in students grades. Any response could help me here since I can't find anything about the actual use of this in Brazil, only studies about possibilities of applications and such. Is there any school that actually use this method? I'm a student at Universidade Federal de São Paulo, UNIFESP, located in São José dos Campos, Brazil. I'm part of a team forming a Study Center in Games and Internet here. Thank you!
