Moving into teaching with unrelated masters

Hey guys, I apologize in advance if this is the wrong sub. Please direct me if this is inappropriate.

I have a Bachelors in Communications and a Masters in International Journalism. I taught English overseas and now I am looking to become a History teacher at the Elementary or Junior High level.

Since I obviously already have student debt, I am looking for the cheapest and most efficient route to becoming a teacher.
