Actually working on a graduation work about school failure

Hello redditors !

I'll introduce myself in a few words.

1st, sorry if my post isn't in the good subreddit, i really don't know where to post it.
So, i'm in my last year of university and i'm working on a graduation work about school failure like the title said.

So, i'm from Belgium, in the french community, and in this place, the school education is terrible...
We have like 46% of Francophone students have already repeated one year.

I decided to do my graduation work on this subject, in order to get my grade of math teacher in college

But today ! I need you !

I need your advice, your opinion, your experience as a student (12-15 years) at school. I need to know what worked perfectly (for you) at school, what did not work, and why? If you can explain

I don't know any relevant English-language websites at all, so if you have interesting articles to read about school failure, I'll be grateful.
I am looking specifically for the causes of school failure, such as the responsibilities of the teacher, the educational system, the role of the students, and so on.

I thank you in advance, and I apologize for my very average English...I hope to be understood
