Stumped on biology, chem and physics

Heya. So I've recently takem a huge interest in biology, chemistry and physics. Biology namely due to my taking of nursing classes.

That being said, I'm a little confused as to where to begin. I unfortunately have nothing to show for high school biology or chemistry, so I practically know nothing. I picked up a biology book from my community college and it seems to require a degree of understanding chemistry and physics first.

Where should I begin? Would understanding physics help my learning of chemistry then biology? Any input would be appreciated.
