Questions about exams and percentages.

I’m 15, new to high school so I’m a bit confused on how things work. Exams and culminating tasks are coming up for me and I’m questioning about science. I take advance science, and I’m sitting at a 67 avg. not my best mark but I will take it. Quick question, if exams are worth 15%, and the culminating task is ask worth 15%, and I get below a 50% on both, let’s say a 45%, will that bring my mark down enough to fail? I live in Canada by the way, Ontario is that matters to the question. If the topic is not relevant to the sub then I’m sorry mods 😐.
