Hey all,
I am 28 years old, and so far, most of what I learned and applied both in my personal life and career came from self-education. I studied engineering at university but dropped out as I realized that everything I am being taught in a couple of semesters is obtainable in a couple of weeks of self-education with the help of the Internet. That realization gave me the freedom to learn whatever I am curious about, and eventually, I learned software development, business development, sales, and marketing, and had a quite successful career in a wide variety of industries related to each skill.
A year and a half ago I started my own business and used things I learned to grow it. Everything is going well so far, but as my business grows bigger, I feel lack of knowledge on various fronts. The biggest knowledge gap I have is finance. It is becoming more and more important with each milestone in the business. Therefore, I am looking for online resources (and books) I can self-educate myself in finance. Although there are plenty of online courses out there, most of them are teaching fundamentals, while what I need is to learn it as I've taken major in finance. I can dedicate a huge amount of time and energy to accelerate my learning in any way possible.
It would be great to get your recommendations on what online resources or books can help me achieve this goal. Feel free to let me know any book, website, blog, or course helped (or still helping) you.
P.S. Forgive me if my description of what I want to learn exactly is unclear. My journey in financial self-education is just starting, so I might know the exact disciplines and aspects of it yet.
