Group home school - MT

If schools near us don't open this year, a few parents in situations similar to ours (both parents work, don't have access to adequate internet, etc.) are discussing home schooling together, or creating a sort of one room school house for our children. There would likely be fewer than 20 kids ranging in age from pre-K to grade 11. I'd probably convert the back of a building I own into the school.

We'd be able to limit exposure for the children while ensuring they receive adequate instruction. Different parents are willing to volunteer and instruct different days/classes. For example, one parent is a veterinarian, another a vet tech and they will take on science instruction. I'm a business owner and former journalist and will focus on English and social sciences.

It doesn't hurt that we're all fairly liberal or center-left in an extremely conservative town and haven't been happy with how the public school district treats boys and girls differently, encourages religious activity in school and blatantly ignored a sexual assault and rampant sexual harassment.

Has anyone done something similar? What are the major pitfalls we can avoid? We're hoping this is only a short-term solution and will enroll our children back into the school district once the pandemic subsides. I don't think it's realistic to expect all the parents to contribute equally due to varied resources, whether financial or time based.
