Studying Secondary Teaching. Any tips or guidance?

Greetings everyone, my name is Adam and I’m currently a first year student studying a Bachelor of Secondary Education in WA, Australia. I don’t go on Reddit much, but this subreddit has been a great source of wise words and experience talking. I know this forum is predominantly based around the curriculum and education of the United States, but just curious if anyone has any tips or pointers they can give someone who is just starting out. I’m currently working in Emergency services and wanting a career change for a few reasons. Thanks in advance, Adam.
