I’m in California and I want to attend community college so that I can transfer to a 4 year uni. My parents kept me out of school since I was 12 so I have no record of being in school. I feel like I’ve fallen through the cracks of society because I have no friends, no social life, and have had my right to an education and being a kid taken away from me. Anyway, I want to attend CC now, but since I’m 17 I need a letter from my councilor (I don’t have a councilor.) The GED and CHSPE are closed so I cant get those. How can I get myself on the path to an education? Can I go to community college?
