Help clearing up the ABCD model when writing learning objectives

I'm mostly confused on the degree part. Specifically if the assignment is a writing assignment.

For example, "Students will summarize the boston tea party in a journal entry..."

But I get stuck on the degree. What is an appropriate way to measure their performance?

All the research I've done says that you can state the degree as "with 85% accuracy" but I feel like that's better for multiple choice or something. I'm getting myself confused.
