Summers off makes no sense: Former US Education Secretary Arne Duncan calls for year-round schooling

I’ve always wondered why we don’t do this, knowing full well it goes back to agricultural needs, but in a field where we jump on new research to improve a student’s learning, why hasn’t this taken off?

For those of you who have year round school, do you like/dislike it? Why?
