My province is currently looking for people to apply into intensive programs like:
- Full stack developer
- Network administration
- Cisco Networking
- Software developer
These are full time college courses paid by the government (if you manage to get in). I am skeptical, because these are not your typical career programs like computer science or IT, which takes several years to acquire a diploma. They are fast pasted programs that are about 1500 hours and last up to 14 months, plus an internship.
Would I be able to get a job as a full stack developer with a simple college attestation? I am fairly new to this field, but I know many employers are looking for people with experience and higher education. Anyone who had joined similar programs could help me out? Or any advice is appreciated.
