Transferring non-traditionally

I plan to transfer by next spring, so spring of 2025. I finished high school this year in September. I was supposed to graduate in 2020, but I got extremely depressed and went through agoraphobia. I was doing an independent school, but COVID happened and everything became very confusing when the school wouldn't tell us anything for a month, and then my laptop broke. My depression just became clinical and I wouldn't be able to get out of bed for months. I gained a lot of weight and my self-esteem was low.

Although I didn't finish high school, I signed up for community college in the Spring of 2021. I've had my fair share of mental breaks, leads to EW's and W's on my transcript. Now, I started playing off season track and field and soccer, I plan to compete now that I got my hs diploma and my mental health has never been better. I surrounded myself with people who supported me and I finally felt less alone. I even finished this past summer semester with a 4.0 and I do plan to finish this semester again, with a 4.0, and the rest of the semesters.

I just have too much anxiety that when I do eventually transfer, they'll see I finished high school in an adult independent school and not accept me due to that. Will my high school affect my chances of being accepted? I plan on going to the Cal States, such as CSUN and Fullerton. My other options are art schools, like CalArts.

I’ve always wanted to do animation for movies, then go on to get my masters to work in documentaries.
