Nobody would ever seriously argue that a government monopoly could do a better job at providing people with a diverse assortment of affordable, high-quality food. We've seen the evidence of where that leads in Cuba and former communist regimes. Yet that's exactly the claim public school advocates make about school choice and vouchers.
