Our superintendent just announced 15% cuts across the board for next year. Haven't seen the final numbers yet but already getting nervous about what's going to disappear.
Probably losing our video editing licenses which is going to piss off the media arts teachers. Might have to cut back on some of the subject specific platforms too. Definitely not touching internet bandwidth or device refresh cycle because that would be a disaster.
Curious what other districts are trimming. Are you cutting software subscriptions? Putting off hardware upgrades? Reducing tech staff?
Also wondering if anyone's found decent free alternatives that don't completely suck. Seems like everything either costs a fortune or is barely functional.
