i’m from bulgaria and i’m in 9th grade (15) and i really want to do my last two years of school in the uk. i’m thinking about applying to HMC scholarships next year. hopefully i’ll be able to get a scholarship. what worries me is that it would be to a boarding school.. i’ve attended state schools my entire life, and i have no idea what life at a boarding school may look like. i worry i may not do well, i worry i may have a lack of privacy, etc. it would also be so far away from home. i also worry how people may treat me. i obviously do not come from a wealthy family, i would be a foreigner..
if you’ve ever attended a boarding school please tell me about your experience. or if you work at one. any advice is appreciated
