Hi everyone,
I've been teaching for 8 years, but I'm still trying to figure out this mystery: How do you get kids to continue their learning outside of your classroom when it isn't mandatory?
I am currently teaching computer science classes and while the kids are engaged during class and complete mandatory assignments, they aren't going above and beyond or branching out on their own. When I am working on a project personally, I just can't stop. I don't understand how I can help them achieve the same focus and level of interest.
Any tips would be great!
