Advice Please: Which Country to Study In?

Hi there,

I'm a newly 22 year old Canadian born to both an English Dad & Czech / Bulgarian Mum.

Currently residing in London (UK) on an ancestry visa (5 years that turns into PR and then Citizenship if I want) at the moment and finally figured out what I want to study..

I'm just thinking about where would be the best to study in terms of cost, location and degree recognition.

Basically I can study in Canada on the domestic fees as a citizen of course, or the UK and EU paying home fees (domestic) using my Czech Passport (for now in UK, pre brexit however long until the fees potentially change)

In Canada, the loan system I'd have to use is pretty shit and I'd have to pay back a big loan whether I use that in Canada or a Canadian loan for the education in the UK and as I am not a British citizen yet, I can't get UK loans.

My end goal is to live and work, probably study as well a Masters in Australia. My end goal all around is to just try living in Australia before I'm 30 and see if I like it to try and stay there.

I'd prefer to pay the lowest amount possible for the Bachelors which had me thinking of studying in Germany which is free except for the admin fees etc.. But I've always heard that a European Degree can be a hit or miss in terms of it's international recognition eg in UK, Canada, Australia.

I don't know if that's just Eastern Europe though where all the highly qualified people (neuroscientist etc) I know from there basically became janitors/security guards etc in the UK/Canada.

I'd rather stay in the UK and study then if Germany is not a good option for international recognition, but it will be a bit more expensive there as I'm pulling out a Canadian student loan for the UK (thankfully on home fees and not international fees)

I really don't want to study in Canada because I want to keep exploring the world and being in different parts while I have the chance with the benefits of my visa / eu passport etc.

To summarize what I'm wondering-

Is it worth studying in Germany? Or will my education not really count internationally (Australia and Canada for example)

If no good, is it better for me to go back to Canada when I'd rather not even though it will be cheaper for me study there because I have to take out Canadian student loans either there or for the UK education..

Also because maybe Canadian education is better than in the UK? I don't know.

Hopefully that all made sense..

Can anyone shed some light on this at all from their experience or knowledge?

Thank you so much.
