I’ll do my best to not sound rude, but what I learned today has really irked me. Before anything else I’d like to give some backdrop. I’m currently a student taking CCP in Ohio and I believe I’m already at a disadvantage at my school with class ranks (my school weights ap courses higher). I’ve found laws saying it’s illegal to do that, but in all honesty I believe my school continues to do this.
Moreover, the current valedictorian has just enrolled in an independent study of ap physics to ensure that she wins(she was in regular physics), but the thing that troubles me is that her father is gonna be the advisor of the course and that the course was created just for her. Not only that her father is going to administer her exams...
I’m not sure if I should be worrying or even trying to fight for valedictorian, because I think this is kind of an abuse of power slightly but I figured the people of this sub reddit would know best.
I tried my best to not sound like a prick, but I’m sorry if I did.
