DISCLAIMER: Sorry if this isn't the correct subreddit for this type of post - I was torn between different teaching and education subreddits for where this would be appropriate.
Hi everybody,
I'm not very good at teaching/helping others at school. I try to help people with their work and subjects/concepts they struggle with - but I'm far from a communication/teaching-meister and end up confusing people more than I help them.
I'm currently looking for general tips for becoming a better teacher (not as a career, but as a skill) or good resources - such as books - that would help me. I'd greatly appreciate any advice or a re-direction for the best place to ask this elsewhere if possible.
Thank you for your advice,
vinnishi.
