How to find out what jobs exist in my desired field, also crying a bit

Hi, I want to go back to school. During my first time, I worked a lot and didn't have time to network. Advisors were notoriously terrible and you DEFINITELY couldn't just have a meeting for, you know, advice. I graduated with two Bachelor's degrees in things I was not interested in but good at and it turns out you can't do anything with a Bachelor's, you need a Master's. (I did this bc the culture I lived in was "things you are interested in as a child are fleeting and frivolous, you don't get praise for excelling in a subject/chore you enjoy bc you're basically playing, if you like something it can be taken away meaning it was not important in the first place" I could go on but basically it was engrained in me that liking things made them unimportant.)

Since then I've been working mostly in food service. I apply to other slightly more complex things, but I guess I don't have the qualifications. (Now I'm starting to cry?) I want to go back to (1) have a good college experience (I'm a good student!) and to (2) be able to work in fields I like. But it's obviously cripplingly expensive, so I want to be prepared before I start.

How do you find out what jobs exist in fields you like, and what qualifications there are for them, and how those qualifications translate to degrees and colleges? I like and am interested in broad ideas (graphic novels, the ocean, national parks, animals) but I can't figure out how you know what jobs exist in relation to those things. My knowledge of jobs is what you would find in a coloring book--firefighter, cop, vet, bus driver--how do you learn about jobs?

Thanks so much for reading. I really don't know where else to turn. Also I feel REALLY STUPID.
