Programming curriculum for Middle school (8th grade)

I'm looking for resources and curriculum material to propose a programming class to my administration. In the past, I've used Scratch and other graphical interface programming languages to run after-school programs. I'm looking for something a little more in-depth than Scratch that can be used for a semester or year-long course. Any help is appreciated!
