I recently graduated with a Marketing degree and am really wanting to work in the medical field. I know I would have to complete more education (more prerequisite classes also before even being admitted to a masters program), but I was considering becoming a physicians assistant. I considered checking into SLP programs also, but decided that PA would be a better fit. I was reading how you can get admitted to a program with any undergrad degree but there are prereq's and/or many require you to work in the medical/healthcare field for 1-3 years before admitting you to their program at all. I have no previous experience in the industry. Any and all tips would be appreciated, especially from those who are PA's and could give me any advice on the next steps I might take. Any other suggestions for working in the healthcare industry would also be appreciated! Cheers!
