Ok guys. Here's my situation. I'll try to make this short. I am 30 years old and I have been promoted to the highest level of of my educational competence which unfortunately is only a high school diploma. I have been working in retail for the past 10 years and I have decided it is not what I want to do with the rest of my life. I am currently a store manager, and my day to day life includes a lot of HR responsibilities. The HR stuff is the highlight of my day, the customers and sales goals are not. I have had the realization to move forward into an HR career, I need a degree. I am looking for help because I don't even know where to start. As an adult going back to school, the options are endless and scary. Here are my questions and if anyone could help me answer any of them I would appreciate it. 1. What are some schools that are online only that aren't scammy? (for lack of better word) 2. Where can I find actual information about grants that are FOR adults? 3. Are there any schools that will actually turn some of my working experience into credits? 4. Does anyone have any advice/tips/tricks?
I am in retail after all so I don't have the financial means to go with an expensive program.
Any and all help is welcome. Thanks fellow redditors.
