Is college worth it ?

Im a junior in high school and I’ve had a bumpy road . My grades are pretty bad but they can be worse I’m just wondering whats so good about college I mean people have done amazing things without needing a college degree. Like honestly I don’t want to waste money and time and just get in debt for the rest of my life ... what’s the point
