Starting from square one?

Hey guys, I am a 23 year old in the UK and I have only recently decided what to do with my life.

My education goes as far as A-levels, as I wasn't interested in Uni when I was 18. I've found a passion in criminal investigation and forensic testing. It's always been an interest of mine but lately I've been focusing a lot on the evidence analysis itself and its something I can realistically see myself doing.

I want to study in forensic linguistics and I don't know where to start at all. I have a B in A-level english language and various non-related A-levels (for example Film Studies). I also have a full time job so it would be much more preferable to study online than to go to physical classes.

Is there anyone who knows what degrees I need to look into? Which universities offer online courses for this type of thing? How much will it cost me?

At the moment this is a dream but I really want to make it a reality, and do something meaningful with my life. Any advice would be brilliant. Cheers!
