Submission Statement: In this article the author - a no name supply teacher aka "The Sub" - describles some of his experiences. He posits disconnection with Generation Z, NYT 1619 Project as revisionism, detailed student tracking, and other things. He ends with a tougne in cheek "Don’t try this in a Classroom" reference for ingenious teaching, or in my words, teach students to learn how to learn and think for themselves through an organized cognitive dissonance approach.
