I am a transfer student from China and I have experienced both US and Chinese education. Here I will not judge these two totally different education. I will talk about something about the people I met. In China, we always appeal for education equality but the reality is the education is inherently unequal. I met some students who studied badly in China and went abroad in high school. With the background in US high school, they got to enter the top 20university in the world. They are lucky compared with those who have to face the fierce competition in China. In my home university in China, I have several friends that have a talent in a specific field. limited by their horizon and other tough situations, they have to face the reality and do not have the access to sophisticated education. Admittedly, they are hard and is equipped with good quality. But due to their family, their life is harder when they came to the world. Equality is relative not absolute.
