100,000 international students are being disproportionately affected by the College Board decision to release AP exam all at once.

Hello, r/education I am not sure where to post this and this seemed logical to me. If there is another place please let me know as I would like to be effective as possible.

My sister (who does not Reddit) has lived and worked as an educator in Japan (and Asia in general) for many years, is asking for you to sign this petition below. The following content is her direct statement.

“I usually do not share petitions like this so broadly, but this year my AP English Language and AP English Literature students in Japan are required to take their AP exams at 3 a.m.. My courses are just one example: our students at ISSH will take exams at 1 am, 3am, 5 am--over a two-week period. The College Board's decision to release condensed versions of AP exams simultaneously worldwide without regard to the impact that will have on students in international;; schools or students who attend Department of Defense schools overseas is unethical. In spite of thousands of administrators, teachers, students, and parents who have protested the decision the College Board refuses to find a way to offer equitable testing conditions to students outside the United States. They state that "unprecedented times" and "testing security" justify the inequitable treatment of these students. The College Board would NEVER require students within the United States to take high-stakes exams in the middle of the night or in the early hours of the morning, then it is NOT acceptable to require students outside the USA (many of whom are US citizens--although that should not matter) to do so. If you share my dismay, then please add your name to this petition
