Hello! I think this kind of post is allowed? Otherwise, please let me know a better spot to direct it and I'll remove it.
I am a graduate student developing a product and service for educators as my capstone and personal venture. Part of my work relies on understanding how teachers use externally prepared lessons, how teachers of young students motivate and incentivize students, and what teachers and schools would want from curriculum. My product is coincidentally very timely with COVID-19 in that it focuses on teaching hygiene and aseptic behaviors while delegating the responsibility of classroom sanitization from teachers and janitorial staff to the students (imagine a world where the students are using clorox wipes on their desks and in their spaces daily!).
While COVID-19 has only confirmed that behavioral and institutional changes are needed to reduce bacterial spread in schools, it's made talking to teachers and administrators hard as they shift to remote learning. I really need to hear from educators about what this problem really looks like, and if I'm developing the best product that will fit teachers' needs and be useful.
If you're at all free or interested, I would be SO SO SO grateful for just a few minutes of your time either in Reddit PMs, emails, phone calls, etc. I am at your mercy and flexibility trying to learn more about how educators would purchase curriculum, physical products, and a la carte lessons surrounding aseptic practices in the classroom and school!
