She was an excellent teacher face to face. Her K12 students loved her. COVID19 turned her into an online teacher (thanks COVID).
I’m trying to give her some advice but it doesn’t seem to be an easy task. She has like 20 mini windows open and many students seem to be a bit passive. Some are not.
How can a school teacher manage engagement in an online class environment the same way she was doing face to face?
I have been lecturing for a short while back in the days and I remember how hard it was to check if all of my 30 students were listening to me.
I’m curious how are you making sure students don’t get distracted on Zoom?
Are you using any specific technique or tool to ensure you’re still in control?
Especially at K12 level.
