First off. I understand that a degree is a means to a job, so we can pick that a part another day. What I am trying to decipher is how one ranks the purpose(s) of a college education. Yes I will allow multiple purposes, because I am not an absolutist. You can say "job", "learn a skill", "get better at a sport" for the athletes out there, "find a love" for those romantics out there. Anything honestly. I just want to see how one prioritizes the productive aspects of college. My goal is to try and get feedback on the viewpoint of; what purpose(s) higher education holds.
