Romeo and Juliet non copyrighted version

Hi there,

I’m curious to see if any of you would know a non copyrighted version of Romeo and Juliet. My girlfriend is having trouble finding a Non Copyrighted version of the story (preferably an English movie version) to present to her class. She also does not want her students to do the following:

1. Subscribe to a website like Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. for a free trial to watch the movie that will eventually cost money
2. Watch any product of the movie that is not regarded as copyright infringement. While the 1996 version of the film is on YouTube (A. it can be bought or rented B. The free version of the movie is also available), Option A can’t be used as it is the same issue that was mentioned in number one (making students spend money on something that they shouldn’t be accountable for). Additionally, Option B was uploaded by a random unaffiliated YouTube user, so my girlfriend cannot use it would be a form of copyright infringement.
