It’d be great if I could y’alls opinion on the path I’ve decided to take.
I graduated high school in 2015 and after years of working while figuring out what it is I wanted out of life, I’ve recently drawn up a plan for myself starting this Fall.
I’ll be doing everything online. Within the first two years, I’ll be taking courses to earn an Associates in Business Administration, Marketing and completing a Boot Camp in Full-Stack Web Development. My hope is I’ll be able to land a decent job at this point, especially since the Boot Camp I’ll be apart of guarantees a $50,000 salary upon graduation.
Having what I see as a technical skill, a 2-year business degree, and relatable work experience, I’ll then transfer to complete a Bachelor’s in International Business, Marketing. I’m thinking, based on what I’ve researched, I could finish it off quickly with a competency program, if available. Leading up to completing the Bachelor’s, I plan to find an internship, preferably paid, or an apprenticeship program related to marketing.
At this point, I’d assume there would be a field of options. Besides what I think, I’d love to know what y’all suspect I could potentially find myself doing within and/or after these next four years. Any suggestions?
