Australian TAFE or university students

Have you applied for a Fares Allowance? Currently getting Youth Allowance but it’s not enough, I have heard about a Fares Allowance but you can only apply 3 times. Is there anything else that can help cover the cost of travel? My closest campus is 100km and it is really starting to add up travelling twice a week. Thanks
