Would you want your kid to have to take an in-person standardized test starting next month?

Tell the Virginia Department of Education to act now to prevent English Learners and their families from facing the unfair health risk and burden of having to take an in-person starardized english proficiency test (WIDA) starting in January. The power to cancel the test will lie with the new Biden Secretary of Education, but Virginia Department of Education needs to advocate and stand with VA teachers, students and the community on this. Students and families shouldn't have to risk their health and safety to take a test to guarantee their own education funding during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. Sign the petition below
