To those of you who are in NY state, advanced regents diplomas do not matter after you graduate high school

I was someone who had an iep in school, I struggled to learned things quickly and it took me longer than others to understand something. I graduated in 2018 with a local diploma because I could not pass my math regents. I struggled with math in high school. A local diploma is the SAME thing as a regents just that you could get a 55 on one or more of the exams. I graduated college in 2023 from a top university in NYC. So I just want to come on here and say none of that matters. What you do after is what matters! So don’t stress or beat yourself up because you couldn’t get an advanced regents diploma or you have an Iep. It literally means nothing in the real world! You will be successful regardless.
