High School options

My kid has the option to attend 2 different high schools next year. She’s literally ok with going to either one. I have no idea which one to choose. She’s an athlete. She’s been in honors classes the last few years. She’s social and doesn’t mind making new friends. Her best friends don’t attend her school so she won’t be leaving them if she moved schools. She plans on going to college. Would like to attend a university ranked high for education. We applied and were offered a spot for the magnet school, just have to tell them yes or no.

Which one would you choose? What else would you consider?

School A (current district) -in district, 15 min driving distance -public school, ranked #186 out of 450+ HS’s in our state -student population is about 4,600 -Never received Blue Ribbon award -very competitive across all sports -not as much diversity -no school uniforms -offers AP, honors and college courses

School B -out of district, 35 min driving distance -public magnet school, ranked #2 out of 450+ HS’s in our state -student population is about 1,300 -2x Blue Ribbon School -competitive in some sports -more diversity -uniforms required -offers AP, honors, college courses, and has IB program
