I don't know much about kids. But the 3 yr old seems fairly ahead of the curve or I'm behind. When two they knew numbers and letters and spelling. A little about science. They couldn't speak well but would use letter blocks to spell words too. Small words like door, apple, hat, etc.
Now the child is 3. They can read children's books like Sesame Street books. And, ask for help when it's a new word.
The child spends all their time doing educational items on their own. They are learning certain topics so well that they surpass me as the adult. For example I don't know a foreign language and they know a bit. The same goes for science.
Figuring out order seems important to the kid. For example wild animals by size, continent, type.
This kid just turned 3 recently and isn't in school yet.
Are kids now just smarter?
They will start school soon, anything I should do to support them?
