My girlfriend is one of the most caring people I've ever met. She went to Nepal as a volunteer and stayed for around 4 months working at a village school and clinic essentially trying to teach kids, and locals in general, anything about health and education she could. After the earthquake in in April of 2015 she raised several thousand dollars to assist the village in purchasing temporary building materials and miscellaneous items for basic health and food. Both of us traveled there in August of 2015 to bring cash, clothes, toys, and educational material. She has accepted this challenge of assisting the people there will be a life long endeavor, formed by the love she has for them.
