Hey guys, I'm just wondering what classroom management theories have you read up on and then actually tried to apply to your classroom?
I'm particularly interested in dealing with highly emotional students (maybe due to issues at home), or students who may have slight learning difficulties (enough to pose a problem in the classroom, but still able to mostly function on a social level).
I've currently been looking into Rudolf Dreikurs who seems to have a fantastic framework, but I'm very interested in learning some opposing views on this, and maybe pro's and con's to certain theories as well.
Looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say!
