Am I studying wrong? What should I do differently? Fele like I'm spending too much time on studying.

Right now I listen to a lecture and take notes, afterwards I rewatch the lecture, keep the book by my side and make a summary of the book which takes me about 7 hours per chapter because I always get distracted and tired and I stress a lot, and I'm just slow.

I could just stop with the summaries and actually do that when I start with studying three weeks before the exams, because when I make them I usually learn most of it, and if I do it now I won't remember in eight weeks. But I'm scared if I stop with those summaries, they will take up too much time in the end.

What should I do?
