How do you behave and how do you respond with insolent and irrespectful behavior ?

Hi, Everyone,

I have a student who is making troubles in my classroom since the beginning.

He said " I behave like a child". To be honest i was really surprised and I didn't know what to say. He doesn't listen to anything, shout, says irrespectful comments and said that at the end.

I have excluded him from the classroom and I told him he is not accepted again until he made excuses.

I understand I have reacted too much, but I was surprised as I never had any student who talked to me like before.

I don't know how I should have reacted and what to do in the future. I mean like in a clever way for both of us.

Do you have any idea ?
