The high school where I work is rolling out a move from three levels (say, honors, college, and "Freshman English") to two (honors and "Freshman English") in all core academic subjects. We're in year 2 of implementation and are working on differentiation and engagement strategies. I'd love to hear stories from teachers/ staff who have gone through this transition.... I'm curious about what worked, what didn't, and if the move, pitched as a way to benefit students with IEPs and other struggling learners, really helped them in the end. Thanks so much for any help or insight you can share.
