So I’m a fledgling educator with a lot of love and hutzpa. My field is art because that’s how I’m avoiding the CORE curriculum - jk I can’t. I’m watching people teach and it got me thinking:
Remember a great teacher you had. What qualities made them a good teacher? What about them changed you? How did they foster your growth? What’s the best thing they did for you so today even as a stranger asks you all of this - what made them so great you thought of them?
Think about a bad teacher. What made them suck? Why didn’t you do well or struggle in their class? What’s the worst thing that makes you remember them at all? What’s the life lesson they taught you?
I’m excited to hear your responses.
