Catholic school appeal help (UK)

I'm having to appeal for my daughter's space at our local Catholic school, It was third on our list of 3 options for secondary school which they are massively holding against me. (Reason it was third is we where supposed to move and it fell through) I haven't been given an appeal date yet but what can I expect to be asked?! My daughter is baptised they already have that proof. attended a feeder primary school and most her class mates have been accepted too. ANY advice on the appeal process in the UK is massively appreciated.
